Our Story |
 |
Our mission is to make the science of predicting employment success accessible to ALL people and ALL businesses.
Our journey starts in 1999, when Ben founded a business to help Fortune 500 companies learn more about how people "fit" their culture. Why? Because the greatest difference between successful and unsuccessful employment is almost always fit.
Ben’s business, which worked with companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Xerox and Nike, assessed employees and job applicants using behavioral science. He used behavioral science because it is a much better predictor of employment success than resumes, interviews, internal supervisor evaluations and background checks, as you can see below. |

By 2006, Ben had expanded his client base across five continents and clients were using his tools to hire hundreds of thousands of people. That’s when he realized that job fit is even more important for small and medium-sized businesses! So Ben called the smartest guy he knew and, together, he and Jamie founded ClearFit™ in 2008.
The introduction of ClearFit made it possible for any person or business to predict employment success – not just large companies. After all, small businesses like Microsoft and Google changed the world through hiring people who fit.
Experience with Fortune 500 employers like GlaxoSmithKline, Xerox, Nike, Merrill Lynch, 3M and Procter & Gamble and top career centers like Harvard Business School puts some muscle behind our mission. |

In 2008, ClearFit’s initial job fit system was patented and launched to the public. Following many, many revisions and rebuilds, the current version of ClearFit was released in 2009 and within two months of launching, ClearFit had hundreds of clients and thousands of career seekers … without any PR. |
